The rapid change in technology has revolutionized health, as in all sectors.The possibility of artificial intelligence technologies to show higher performance than human thought can be seen as a threat in the nursing profession as in all professions.
Nurses will be able to transfer their routine and repetitive work to robot technology.
Can this situation replace robot nurses, nurses? Does the nursing profession end?When nurses adapt to artificial intelligence and technology, they will benefit from the ease of use and advantages of robot nurses, and will be able to devote time to complex tasks such as care that must establish an emotional connection with the patient.The role of nurses will be more important in processes such as taking initiative and critical thinking in which robot nurses are not yet competent.The use of robot nurses, working with robots and managing robots will require new business lines as well as reduce the need for workforce in routine tasks.In this article, it was aimed to review the effects of technological developments on the professional development process, the place of robot nurses in the future of the nursing profession, the use of robot nurses in the field of health, considered in working with robots.
